Novalait welcomes Maude Blouin to the team as Knowledge Transfer Officer.
Novalait General Manager Élise Gosselin is pleased to announce the appointment of Maude Blouin to the position of Knowledge Transfer Officer at Novalait.
Maude holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology from Université Laval. She has been immersed in the dairy industry since her CEGEP days in Joliette, and has swum in a number of professional milieus, including artisanal cheese-making and the search for outlets for non-fat milk surpluses. Maude has participated in the development of the STA department’s flagship events, presented her research project at 4 scientific conferences and taken part in popularization activities such as the Scienturion podcast and the annual Acfas competition.
Her passion for the dairy sector, her creativity and her leadership will enable her to bring research out of the laboratories so that all players in the industry can benefit from it. As Novalait’s Knowledge Transfer Officer, Maude will be an asset in seizing opportunities to promote not only research projects, but also the people behind these innovations.
By making science more human and accessible, science popularization is, in my opinion, a formidable tool for reaching a wide audience on complex issues. I’m proud to be part of such a dynamic team at Novalait, and to share the passion that drives me – the same passion that drives everyone in the dairy industry.
