Novalait calls on the scientific community to propose innovative collaborative research projects in response to the dairy industry’s research priorities

Deadline for proposals: September 4, 2024.

The dairy industry is a strategic sector for Quebec, both socially and economically. As the mainstay of the agri-food sector, it generates 27% of the province’s agricultural revenues. Quebec is also Canada’s leading milk producer (Government of Quebec, 2024).

Priority research themes include:

  • Milk production:
    • Food and nutrition
    • Health and well-being
    • Fertility and reproduction
    • Milk quality
